Single, or full colour, short run digital printing is undertaken using high speed Xerox digital presses. For longer runs, plates are quickly and efficiently made using the latest Kodak computer-to-plate processor technology. Proofs are produced using a Magnus 400 match print proofer. A number of sheet-fed and continuous presses are then available to produce high quality print. These include a Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 – 5 colour perfector press with computer interface colour management. Print quality is outstanding.

Our finishing and binding department has wide-ranging capabilities including Heidelberg Stahl high speed folding, Muller Martini Presto saddle stitching with three knife trimming and Practico stacking, a number of guillotines for cutting and trimmimg, perfect binding, scoring, perforating, numbering, book binding, collating, round cornering, gold foiling, rimming and drilling. A Horizon high speed perfect binding machine is utilized for our binding applications. A Horizon automated collating machine is used to collate the large volumes of numbered books that we print. The Company continues to upgrade its production capabilities on an ongoing basis with appropriate new technologies.

Our recently installed H-UV technology 4-colour offset litho machine will alleviate bottlenecks and maximize production by immediately being ready for whatever is up next in the production cycle. The real key is that H-UV technology will provide instant curing of the job, regardless of the material or ink coverage without the need for any varnish or coating. With greater colour stablility, higher running speeds, lower running costs, reduced waste and Co2 emissions, CPW Printers will more than meet tight deadlines, but beat them. By lowering the carbon footprint we are being responsible in making the world a better place.

A new target which the H-UV technology will create for our sales and design teams is the creative potential on special materials such as plastics, cartons, vinyls and foils.
