OVERVIEW
A practical and interactive session on VAT aimed at providing a working knowledge on calculations and submission of returns. The determination of OUTPUT VAT on sales and the purchases on which INPUT vat (deductions) may be claimed will be explained.
Procedures and internal controls surrounding the accuracy of VAT returns, the documents to be filed (including retention periods) and surviving a VAT audit will be an integral part of the workshop.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is designed for those business owners and/or staff who require greater understanding/ knowledge of how VAT really works.
