We live in volatile and uncertain times and to be successful, leaders need new approaches. Those attributes and actions that helped in the past are often the factors that now hold leaders back. Business Coaching can assist leaders in shifting their ‘way of being’ so that they come closer to achieving their own potential while at the same time meeting the needs of their organisational external and internal environments.
Integrating the latest research in neuroscience (the functioning of the brain) and Integral philosophy as background, this interactive, hi-energy session will provide you with definite steps to follow. Using David Rock’s SCARF model, you’ll leave the session with your own set of tactics which you can immediately start implementing in order to enhance your social intelligence in a leadership context. Leaders who practise and apply these simple techniques are likely to find that they can self-correct and self-generate more effectively.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Brenda has personally held various international and local leadership roles including being President of this Chamber. She was the first woman appointed to this position. She is passionate about leadership development and is a registered Integral Coach specialising in Executive Coaching. She is currently studying for an M Phil degree at Stellenbosch Business School and this covers the latest developments in Business Coaching and Leadership. Her other areas of expertise include training and mentoring. She is also a professional speaker and author.
