PRESENTER: Genevieve Chubb – Colenbrander Incorporated
THE PRESENTATION WILL COVER:
Genevieve will speak and advise on the financial implications of the new B-BBEE codes.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Genevieve Chubb is a Chartered Accountant and a director at Colenbrander Inc. as well as a director of Rocksolid Consulting (Pty) Ltd where she oversees the B-BBEE verification assurance services and issues valid B-BBEE certificates. She is also the Treasurer and a Director of PCB. She is a Chartered Accountant, registered auditor, tax practitioner & B-BBEE verification auditor.
Genevieve matriculated at The Wykeham Collegiate and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University and her B.Comm degree from UKZN. Genevieve qualified as a Chartered Accountant in August 2005. Genevieve has worked for a clothing and footwear manufacturer, a timber co-op and has lectured at UKZN Pietermaritzburg. Since joining Colenbrander Inc. in 2009 Genevieve completed the post graduate B-BBEE Management Development Programme and was amongst one of the first in KwaZulu-Natal to be registered with IRBA to do B-BBEE verification assurance work which resulted in the formation of Rocksolid Consulting (Pty) Ltd.
