Brenda Eckstein International (BEI) is based in South Africa, but operates internationally and can help leaders and their teams to enhance performance. The programmes are carefully tailored to suit the current, specific needs of each company or organisation and its stakeholders.
Brenda Eckstein has presented training in leadership development and communication skills on five continents. As an Executive Coach she is highly qualified, having a Master of Philosophy degree in Management Coaching from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and PCC (2-year course) from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, Centre for Coaching.
A professional speaker, Brenda speaks on a wide range of topics and as an author, has four published books and writes extensively.
Brenda’s research for her M Phil (Management Coaching) through Stellenbosch University was on ‘the role of coaching in developing character strengths in leaders’. Her research and executive coaching involve chartered accountants and lawyers in leadership positions, an area in which she has specialised. She graduated in March 2017 and was honoured as one of Stellenbosch University’s “Top Achievers”.
Other coaching qualifications include being a Certified Integral Coach®, having PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credentials through the ICF (International Coach Federation) and certification at PCC level through the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, Centre for Coaching and New Ventures West (USA). She coaches individuals, either ‘in person’ or via electronic means, mainly at executive level and facilitates group training and leadership development.
As trainer Brenda has presented to a wide range of audiences on five continents. Training and facilitation topics include, leadership development, personal strategy, presentation skills, verbal and written communication, networking, effective delegation and customer service. Through the Australian Qualifications framework Brenda fulfilled the requirements for a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and in South Africa, through the Services SETA is a ‘Registered Assessor’.
Her own leadership roles have included being the first woman to be President of the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Commerce and Industries and International President of International Training in Communication, a world-wide organisation providing leadership development, communication and organisational skills and business meeting procedure. Brenda is an Honorary Member of the Pietermaritzburg & Midlands Chamber of Business.
Brenda is the author of four published books, ‘Networking Tactics’, ‘ABCs of Effective Networking’ and available on Amazon are ‘FLOW: how to turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones’ and ‘GROW: how to turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones.
