OVERVIEW
This course will explain the CCMA processes and equip delegates to represent stakeholders at the CCMA/ Bargaining Council for both Conciliation and Arbitration. The focus is on how to negotiate and settle disputes at conciliation, as well as how to prepare for and present evidence at an arbitration hearing, including statement of case, evidence in chief, witness testimony, cross-examination, dealing with specific pieces of evidence – audio & video recordings, photographs, polygraph examinations, sworn affidavits; opening and closing arguments; postponements.

NOTE: the course will include a review of the new CCMA RULES published in December 2018 and which are effective from 1 January 2019.
