This is a one day interactive workshop for people involved in the filling in of export documents and/or the issuing and certifying of Certificates of Origin . All aspects of certificates will be covered and attendees will become more skilled at solving potential problems and most importantly, avoiding penalties. At the end of the workshop there will be an open book assessment and a certificate of attendance will be issued .

• The export cycle and role players.
• The HS system and its role in COO’s.
• Using delivery terms, risks and cost divisions.
• Various Trade agreements and sources of information.
• The Need for controls and record keeping.
• Certificate of Origin formats.
• How to complete a Certificate of Origin.
• How to check a Certificate of Origin.
• How to solve problems relating to issue or re-issue of certificates.
