R50TOYOTA KATA IN THE CLASSROOM
A simple exercise to teach scientific thinking developed by best-selling author Mike Rother
Kata in the classroom (KiC) is a 50 minute hands on exercise with three minute rounds that involve assembling a small puzzle. The team follow the 4 step improvement Kata pattern to establish a goal and then experiment toward it from round to round.
