OVERVIEW
Ignorance of South African Laws does not exempt Employers and Employees from being fined or imprisonment.
The Occupational Health & Safety Act is no different.
In the event that an Employee or Visitor is seriously injured or dies due to Employer or Employee negligence the Employer and or Employee may be prosecuted and fined up to R100 000.00 or 2 Years Imprisonment or both.
Once this training has been completed the delegate will have a full understanding of all their legal obligations in terms of all Health & Safety Legislation within South Africa.
