Strategic planning isn’t difficult; it’s often great fun. But we so often fail to fulfil our plans and reach our goals.
Everything changes so fast that our dreams are out of date by the time we have recovered from our planning.
The problem is not our planning but the execution, because that involves changing human behaviour. It’s a nightmare, but it’s not impossible. Ian Webster will give a brief introduction to The Four Disciplines of Execution, by Mark McChesney and Sean Covey and some practical tools to implement.
