Pauw was a founding member (& the assistant editor) of the anti-apartheid Afrikaans newspaper, Vrye Weekblad, and a former Special Assignment Executive Producer. His documentaries include coverage of the Rwandan Genocide, the War in Darfur, and the police death squads in South Africa under apartheid.
