ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Lester Bouah joined Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN) more than 11 years ago (2005) as a General Manager responsible for Investment Promotion which encompassed the attraction and facilitation of both Foreign and Domestic Investment to KwaZulu-Natal. Lester was promoted to Executive Manager for Export Development and Promotion and he looks at the support and development of emerging and existing KwaZulu-Natal Exporters.

KZN EXPORT INFORMATION PORTAL
A purpose built information portal for KZN Companies with specific focus on Emerging (not start ups), Existing and Seasoned Exporters. The portal provides access to a numbers of resources at the click of a button. Information such as Trade Agreements, Incoterms, Export Codes, Export Readiness Assessments and much more is available. During the demonstration we will show companies how to navigate the portal
DECISION SUPPORT MODEL
An Export Search Engine developed by the University of the Northwest over a 10 year period. The tool provides information on export potential of products throughout the world based on the utilisation of a number of filters and parameters. It then provides an indication of the appetite for products in a particular market as well as gives an indicative USS value and where competition may be coming from. During the session we will demonstrate how the model works and the type of reports we provide to our clients.
