This is an initiative with the aim of gathering manufacturers and other interested chamber members. These meetings are excellent opportunities for networking, sharing of experiences and knowledge as well as discussing industrialists concerns.
Women in Business Luncheon
This luncheon is held annually and is a popular function which celebrates the role women play in the business environment.
In its own right, the PMCB has made representation directly to a number of national bodies and government departments. Its intervention has influenced developments and benefited individual members, whose concerns have been taken up by the PMCB on their behalf.
In order to co-ordinate the ‘business voice’ the PMCB holds a series of forums such as People Management, Marketing Mix, Lean and NGO. In this way the PMCB provides the opportunity for members to contribute to its advocacy role. Relationships with municipalities are very strong and the ‘business voice’ is influential.
