KZN Lean Conference Powered by Vodacom Business 2021
The 2021 KZN Lean Conference was officially opened by Pietermaritzburg and Midlands Chamber of Business CEO Melanie Veness at the ANEW Hilton Hotel. Powered by Vodacom Business and supported by TIKZN, SLG and TLC, the KZN Lean Conference aims “to inspire the creation of thinking organizations that are agile, productive and competitive”, said Veness.
“This pandemic has taught us several things – that we took a whole lot for granted; that we have to work differently in the future and that we need to work more smartly if we’re to survive. It also taught us that we need to embrace technology,” she said. Among the highlights of the conference is the reality of remote and blended workforces being addressed by top global thought leader Chris Dyer and the application of machine learning in a workplace environment.
