OVERVIEW
Ignorance of South African Laws does not exempt Employers and Employees from being fined or imprisonment.
The Occupational Health & Safety Act is no different.
Nor can we ignore Directives issued by Government on COVID-19
If an Employee or Visitor is seriously injured, dies or becomes ill due to Employer or Employee negligence the Employer and or Employee may be prosecuted and fined up to R100 000-00- or 2-years Imprisonment or both.
Once this training has been completed the delegate will have a full understanding of all their legal obligations in terms of all Health & Safety Legislation within South Africa.
